Imagination and Moral Growth

An Ethix Chat wherein I talk about the role of imagination in moral growth.

The idea: imagination helps you creatively anticipate recurring interactions and environments where you are called upon to be virtuous...but where you may be struggling to be so. You know: that person or environment that tends to trigger impatience, a lack of gentleness, etc. Ahead of the next interaction that triggers non-gentleness, for example, envision yourself being gentle and, thereby, prime your heart to respond with gentleness.

Creative preparation could change how you live. Imagine that.
